Community College Baccalaureate Degrees in Texas. A First Look at Enrollments and Outcomes
Abstract Summary: Representing the first look at data on Texas students participating in community college bachelor’s (CCB) degree programs, this brief explores the demographic characteristics of these students and the labor market outcomes of graduates. Building on a large body of research on CCB degrees published by our team, we find that Texas CCB students are slightly younger than CCB students in other states. We also find that Latina women are graduating in high numbers from these programs, though gender pay gaps do persist.
